Sandown Park R7 – Grade 5 715m
WHIZBANG BETTY (8) has been racing well at the provincials and looks a stayer with a bright future. She has the box speed to find a handy spot early and will put on the jets mid-race. She can get the prize. RAMPAGE RALSTON (1) was an all-the-way winner at Shepparton last start and is drawn to find the early lead. He will give them something to catch.

Albion Park R8 – FFA 600m
SUNBURST (1) had no luck when finishing out of the placings last start and will appreciate the step up to 600m tonight. She can find the early lead and hug the rails throughout. They won’t catch her. POCKET MONEY (8) hasn’t raced since winning over 710m four weeks ago and can cross to pour on the early pressure. He is likely to need the run but is a clear danger. The pair can battle out the finish.

Dapto R8 – Mixed 4/5 520m
I’m tipping an upset in the small field here. CLUB MODEL (4) was an all-the-way winner at the Gardens two runs back and has the luxury of two vacant boxes to her inside. She can find the early lead and give plenty of cheek on the lure. RESTRICTION (7) is racing in terrific form, with three wins and two placings from his last five starts, and will be a short-priced favourite. He will find the line strongly and be hard to hold out.
