Sandown Park R6 – Harrison Dawson Heat 1 515m
ASTON LIRA (1) was a best of the night all the way winner from box 1 last start and gets the cherry box draw once again tonight. He has been in career-best form and will get every chance. The $4 on offer looks HUGE. PADDY WANTS PATS (6) is a much-travelled chaser who always acquits himself well against the best. With good early speed, he is the danger.

Sandown Park R8 – Harrison Dawson Heat 3 515m
FRED ROSE (1) had won four on the trot before finishing second in a tight finish last week. He is consistently running under 29.5 over the 515m and will get every chance from box 1. He is the clear top pick. PHOTO MAN (7) is a Group 1 winner who had no luck when resuming from a break last start. A proven performer, he is the x-factor in the race.

Albion Park R8 – G3 Newhaven Stud Farm 520m
BEAR’S BULLET (4) chased home the airborne BLUE HORNET last start and was a brilliant winner at the start previous. He has won twice from box 4 and has the early speed to find the lead. DOLLY DUTTON (1) will sit just behind the early leaders and look to close late. She will be hard to hold out if the breaks come her way. The pair can battle out the finish.
