Wentworth Park R9 – FFA 520m
YUKO GIRL (4) is an ultra-consistent chaser who has placed at her last four starts, all in top company. She has a vacant box to her outside and the early speed to find the early lead and make her own luck. The $5 on offer is too good to refuse. MORTIFIED (1) was a beaten favourite in Group 1 grade last week and will be strong in the second half of the race. She will be hard to hold out with luck in running but may get cramped for room along the rails.

The Meadows R8 – FFA 525m
KELSEY BALE (3) won the Group 1 Laurels in December at Sandown Park and has won 5 from 7 at The Meadows. She will need a touch of luck early on but is capable of powering to the line. BABY JAYCEE (2) has enough early speed to find the rails and lure before the first turn and will give them something to catch. The pair can fight out the finish.

Cannington R6 – Sandi’s Me Mum Memorial Heat 2 520m
ELECTRIFIED (1) is one of the stars of the West with 13 wins from 17 runs over the 520m at Cannington. Drawn the rails tonight, he jumps leads and wins. MOMENTUM (4) is the other class runner in the race who is capable of pouring on the pressure throughout. He can capitalise on any mistakes that the favourite makes. A win by any other dog in the race would be a big surprise!
