Sandown Park R4 – Bold Trease Heat 4 715m
MEPUNGA RUBY (1) has been racing consistently against the best stayers in Australia and draws a good box for the first time in a while tonight. She loves the 715m at Sandown and can hold the early lead. She is the clear top pick. TORPEDO TEARS (4) has good early speed and will try his heart out. He can add some value into the exotics.

Sandown Park R7 – Melbourne Cup Heat 3 515m
EL DORADO (2) has the speed to find the rails early and get run some good sectionals on the arm. He has won seven times at the track and distance and will be hard to catch. DEADLY CLASS (6) is an enigmatic chaser who sizzled around the Sandown circuit to win by 7+ lengths last month. He has no luck recently and is the X-Factor in the race if he leads.

Sandown Park R9 – Melbourne Cup Heat 5 515m
PADDY WANTS PATS (2) returned to form with a win last start and can make his own luck on the speed. He looks well placed. WOW SHE’S FAST (7) has been finding trouble in her races of late and will need plenty of luck to overcome the tricky box draw. I’m happy to take her on.
