The 2025-26 Premier League season kicks on into Matchday 33, and we’re here with five top-shelf EPL tips for the weekend ahead.
Leeds United v Wolverhampton Wanderers
While the main fixture of the weekend will go a long way to deciding the EPL title, the first has a significant impact on relegation. Wolves are broken and bound for relegation, but a loss here confirms it. They’re all but certain to go down, but will surely want to keep the dream alive for as long as possible and will have circled this one as at least winnable.
Leeds, on the other hand, will see this as a win that could keep them in the Premier League. Six points in front of Tottenham Hotspur following an impressive 2-1 win over Manchester United on Matchday 32, another three points here will act as a significant boost to their chances of staying up.
Despite the lack of quality in the side and their form this season, the value is with Wolves here. Leeds are playing without key defenders and are vulnerable at the back. With nothing to lose and no reason not to play attacking football, expect Wolves to nab at least one and put some pressure on the hosts, where they’ve averaged only 1.60 points per game.

Manchester City v Arsenal
We have to start with the big one. A potential title-defining clash, Manchester City play host to Arsenal with the opportunity to close the gap at the top of the EPL table to only three points.
Momentum has swung in the title race. Cynics have been waiting for Arsenal’s collapse, and while they might hold on from here, they’re stumbling to the finish line after losing to Bournemouth last week. Meanwhile, Manchester City thumped Chelsea 3-0 to cap off a strong patch of form at the right time of the season.
While City have been up and down overall, they’ve picked up points at home to average 2.50 per game at the Etihad. They’ve done so on the back of winning the first half in each of their last 11 EPL home games.
Fatigue – or a lack of it – works in the host’s favour, too. Unlike City, Arsenal still has Champions League football to juggle and comes into this one following a gruelling 0-0 draw with Sporting CP.

City are dealing with a few injuries at the back, but has the attacking firepower, home-field advantage and an extra few days of rest to make up the difference and collect all three points.

Tottenham v Brighton & Hove Albion
Like Arsenal v Manchester City, the conversation and interest in Tottenham Hotspur v Brighton & Hove Albion demands a tip. Not only is Tottenham’s relegation battle all too real, but Roberto De Zerbi has also been helicoptered in to save them and faces his former side in his first match at home.
Spurs haven’t won an EPL match since December. When only a couple would have kept them safe, Tottenham are onto their third manager in search of victory. The Seagulls, on the other hand, will be bouncing into North London following their 2-0 win over Burnley. They’ll be supremely confident in picking apart De Zerbi’s setup, too.

Brighton has won five of their last six matches to climb to 9th on the EPL table and has a better chance than any club of negating any potential impact De Zerbi might have in his early games in charge.
Averaging a nightmare 0.83 points per game at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, we can’t back the home side.

Chelsea v Manchester United
Chelsea are in a rut at the moment. They’ve lost three EPL games on the bounce and four of their last five. A 3-0 hammering at the hands of Manchester City is just the latest in a string of poor performances.
The underlying numbers don’t help with the picture either. Chelsea lost three games without scoring, while also registering fewer shots (12 to 18), shots on target (3 to 8), and expected goals (1.14 xG to 1.89) than City on Matchday 32.
Meanwhile, as Chelsea tumble down the table, United have Champions League football in their sights. Bruno Fernandes is arguably the most influential player in world football at the moment and is enough on his own to give United a sniff as underdogs.
Despite the ups and downs of their EPL season, United always find the net. They’re on the longest active scoring run in the league at 20 matches. Against a depleted Chelsea squad who, according to their own manager, lack resilience, an early one could open this game up and allow Michael Carrick to cruise to his first win as manager at Stamford Bridge.

Newcastle v Bournemouth
We have to get behind Bournemouth and their incredible 12-game unbeaten run against Newcastle United here. They pulled off an impressive 2-1 win over Arsenal at the Emirates last week and have had eight days to rest and recover ahead of this one.
Newcastle are performing relatively well themselves. They’ve scored in nine consecutive matches to ensure they’re consistently troubling the opposition.
Eddie Howe’s side employs an intense and front-footed approach at home. While it has proven successful in attack, it can leave space in behind the line. Bournemouth, meanwhile, are positioned well to construct a counterattack and force the hosts into an even more expansive style while chasing a deficit.
With both teams to score succesfull in 21 of the 32 matches each of these two teams have played this season, we’re looking for 22 on Matchday 33 for an easy win.
