The 2025-26 Premier League season kicks on into Matchday 32, and we’re here with five top-shelf EPL tips for the weekend ahead.
Everton v Brentford
Three weeks is a long time to rely on sustained form, but Everton, on paper, does come into this fixture following a commanding 3-0 win over Chelsea on Matchday 31. Beating a Big Six club is enough to give them the form advantage over Brentford, despite the Bees going unbeaten in their last four games. Three successive draws have allowed Everton to close the gap on the EPL table.
Overall, Everton are one of the better defensive teams in the Premier League. Only league leaders Arsenal (22) and their chasers, Manchester City (28), have conceded fewer goals than the Toffees. Meanwhile, Brentford’s season-long attack has started to stutter. They managed just 0.46 expected goals against Leeds United before the break.
Typically, a team with strong defensive metrics against a low-xG opponent have proven to be a value option away from home. Notably, Everton has picked up points in four of their last five away games. That is enough to land on Everton to leave with at least a point as $3.25 outsiders to take all three.

Burnley v Brighton & Hove Albion
While plenty of teams around the EPL will benefit from the time on the training paddock, the three weeks are unlikely to be enough to see Burnley arrest their relegation-bound form.
Brighton & Hove Albion have hardly been a dominant force across the league this season. They come into this fixture high in confidence following their 2-1 win over Liverpool on Matchday 31.
The numbers all point towards Brighton here, though. They dominate possession to average 52.6% per game. With it, they’ve generated 45.05 expected goals for 41 goals. Burnley, on the other hand, has conceded a league-worst 62.02 xG for 31 goals. Since Matchday 26, only Tottenham and their three managers have conceded more goals than Burnley.
Brighton has a few notable defensive absences of their own, but nothing in comparison to Burnley. With Burnley’s lack of goal-scoring threat, even when healthy, and an inability to keep clean sheets, Brighton should see them over the line here.

Sunderland v Tottenham Hotspur
Here we go again…
With two weeks this time to talk ourselves into another Tottenham Hotspur manager being the answer to their struggles, have they really found their guy?
There are some reasons to believe in Roberto De Zerbi being capable of promoting quick change at the club. He’s a far more established and well-regarded manager than Igor Tudor. As a personality, his long-term outlook and genuine desire to improve the team is a better fit for this embattled squad than Tudor’s desperate attempt to be the task master.
New manager or not, the facts remain: Tottenham are 17th on the EPL table with only 30 points, while Sunderland have climbed to 11th on 43 points.
There is a significant difference in form and table position, but the two squads, despite Tottenham’s injury crisis, should be a lot better than 17th. With De Zerbi’s fighting mentality and consistently aggressive approach on the field with and without the ball, we should surely see an improvement from this Spurs side. Enough for there to be value in their $2.55 to take all three points and put some distance between themselves and the relegation zone.

Liverpool v Fulham
Things must be going back for a club when, not 12 months after winning an EPL title, the manager is under pressure to keep his job. Such is the case for Arne Slot, who is on the wrong side of the fan base at the moment.
They’ve just suffered a commanding 2-0 defeat at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League. It came following a 4-0 dismantling by Manchester City in the FA Cup and a 2-1 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion on Matchday 31 of the league season.
Already outclassed in possession and transition against PSG away, Liverpool will back-up at home only 72 hours later. They grueling schedule is already taking its toll.
In contrast, Fulham will be bouncing into Matchday 32 refreshed and ready to fire after a long break. Not only will they feel good physically, but they’ll be confident after beating Burnley 3-1 in their last match.
With fatigue and form a factor, Liverpool’s defence looks set to only get worse. They’ve shipped eight goals in their last three matches across all competitions, and there is little to suggest those defensive vulnerabilities will be fixed in a limited time.

Manchester City v Chelsea
The form guide shows that Chelsea thrashed Port Vale 7-0 in their last fixture. However, if we scroll further back, this group is playing out an otherwise horror run of results:

- PSG, Champions League – L 5-2
- Wrexham, FA Cup – W 4-2
Manchester City, meanwhile, had their Matchday 31 fixture against Crystal Palace postponed, giving Pep Guardiola even more time to plan and prepare for the remainder of the EPL season. They picked up an impressive 4-0 win over Liverpool in the FA Cup and will have had an eight-day break by the time they step onto Stamford Bridge. That’s a long time for Pep to prep…
