The 2025-26 Premier League season kicks on into Matchday 31, and we’re here with five top-shelf EPL tips for the weekend ahead.
Bournemouth v Manchester United
Manchester United are one of the form teams of the EPL right now and up to 3rd on the table following their 3-1 win over Aston Villa.
Bruno Fernandes is in career-best form to have the Premier League assists record within reach, while Michael Carrick has introduced the sort of defensive stability that has allowed his attacking stars to shine in front of them.

While Bournemouth are unbeaten in 10 consecutive matches, they’ve drawn four of their last five, including a frustrating goalless draw against relegation-bound Burnley. Similarly, they’ve lost only twice at the Vitality all season, but have registered seven draws at the ground.
Not every unbeaten run is created equally, and Bournemouth’s is ripe to fade in this one.
The Red Devils have earned more points than league leaders Arsenal, Manchester City and Liverpool in 2026. In the race for 3rd and in promising form against a Bournemouth side slightly overvalued, United is the pick here.

Tottenham Hotspur v Nottingham Forest
It’s risky taking Champions League form into consideration at the best of times. Tottenham Hotspur, in particular, have been a different team in Europe all season. However, when you also consider their response to going 1-0 down at Anfield on Matchday 30, Spurs appear to have finally bottomed out.

This is a genuine relegation six-pointer with Spurs sitting 16th on the EPL table, only a point in front of Nottingham Forest at 17th. The Tricky Trees are likely to sit deep and defend in numbers as they look to exploit Tottenham’s frailties at the back on the counterattack. Still, with Forest playing in Denmark a day after Spurs hosted Atletico Madrid, Igor Tudor’s side will benefit from the extra 24 hours’ rest and lack of travel.
On the field, Forest haven’t done enough with the ball to be confident they can make the most of Tottenham’s dodgy defence. They have scored only 28 goals at 0.93 per game, and one is unlikely to be enough to take all three points.
Spurs showed their quality midweek and it should translate into Matchday 31.

Everton v Chelsea
While Chelsea have shown glimpses of promise under Liam Rosenior this season, they still can’t be trusted as a reliable Top 4 side. They’re coming into this one on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Newcastle on Matchday 30 and a 3-0 thrashing at the hands of Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.

The physical drain of mid-week football will only hurt Chelsea’s already-struggling defence further. Trevoh Chalobah being stretchered off won’t help either.
Meanwhile, Everton had proven to be difficult to break down before their 2-0 loss to Arsenal. Their approach of sitting deeper and absorbing pressure is the perfect counter to Chelsea’s dominance in possession and recent lack of clinical finishing.
With an organised and disciplined defence, expect Everton to frustrate a broke Chelsea squad to claim at least a point.

Aston Villa v West Ham
We’re applying some European Tax and relegation desperation to back West Ham to beat Aston Villa here.
Villa will have less than 72 hours to report back for EPL action, while the Hammers have spent the week resting and scheming. West Ham have been one of the better-performing teams down at the bottom of the table without being able to lift themselves out of the relegation zone. They’ll see this as a prime opportunity, with Spurs and Forest also going head-to-head, to make a move.
West Ham have earned the 11th-most points in the Premier League since New Year’s Day. They aren’t far off and proved their ability to challenge with a hard-fought 1-1 draw with Manchester City last week.
The profile of the two teams presents as a good opportunity for Jarrod Bowen to dominate. Unai Emery typically has his Villa side playing with a high defensive line. With his pace and the timing of his runs, Bowen is in a great spot to exploit the space behind and find the net ($2.80). One is all it would take for Villa to start feeling the pressure, and for the Hammers to dream of a great relegation escape.

Fulham v Burnley
It’s difficult to see many goals being scored as Fulham host Burnley this week.
Both come into this match following 0-0 draws on Matchday 30, and have played with form preceding those that lack scoring.
Burnley were blanked by Everton in their previous match and managed only one goal against a 10-man Chelsea earlier. Meanwhile, Fulham are without a goal in their last three in all competitions.
With both having plenty of time to rest and train during the week, we can expect two relatively well-organised teams defensively. Neither prioritises attacking football at the best of times.
An early goal could change things, but remains unlikely. Instead, this game has 1-0 written all over it, regardless of whether or not it’s Fulham ($7) or Burnley ($15) ending up on top.
In a cagey encounter between two teams that will look to win on the back of sound defensive structures, we’re looking at the under without both teams scoring.
