The 2025-26 Premier League season kicks on into Matchday 24, and we’re here with five top-shelf EPL tips for the weekend ahead.
Liverpool v Newcastle
We’re looking at Liverpool in a get-right spot on Matchday 24 following a tough 3-2 loss to Bournemouth last week.

Liverpool have already responded to the criticism in the wake of their Bournemouth defeat with a resounding 6-0 win over Qarabag FK in the Champions League midweek. While inconsistent this season, they’ve performed relatively week at home according to the xG metrics to sit 4th on expected points.
Their struggles have centered around a leaky defence which has already conceded 32 goals this season after conceding only 21 at this point of the last. Newcastle will be liking their lips at the prospect of goals. They failed to score last week, but did generate 2.3 expected goals – their highest tally without scoring in the EPL since 2022.
Expect see Newcastle correct their ability to finish, but for Liverpool to put a more complete performance together in front of their home fans.

There aren’t many fan bases in world sport that will boo their team off the field when sitting at the top of the EPL table to finish January, but that’s where Arsenal is at right now. Collapses of seasons past are at the front of their mind, and can’t be ignored following their 3-2 loss to Manchester United.
They travel to Elland Road this week but haven’t performed particularly well away from home in general. Across their last 20 EPL matches, Arsenal have only won three games by 2+ goals. They don’t blow teams away and keep them in it for 90 minutes in the process.
When we add Leeds’ five-game unbeaten run at home in the EPL, and the fact that 15 of Arsenal’s last 21 matches across all competitions have finished Over 2.5 goals, we’re looking for both teams to score.
The Gunners trashed Leeds earlier in the season, but this is a better side. 12 of Leeds’ last 19 games have finished Over 2.5 goals, too. With the uptick in form for the home side, the tendency for both to play out high-scoring matches and Arsenal’s scratchy away results, both teams to score at $1.94 appeals.

Brighton & Hove Albion might be playing with a home ground advantage, but it’s difficult to get behind them as $1.80 favourites when they have failed to win in nine of their last 10 EPL matches.
With Everton three points higher on the table, there’s opportunity here for an upset.
Everton’s form has cooled down but they haven’t lost on the south coast in any of their last five matches in all competitions. They aren’t afraid of making the trip. They’ll fancy themselves to score an away goal, too. Brighton have kept only six clean sheets in their last 35 EPL matches. More recently, they’ve given up high quality chances to the opposition to concede 2.55 expected goals to Manchester City (D) and 2.06 to West Ham (D).

Conceding an average of 1.09 goals per game at the AMEX, expect Everton to score at least one. They should claim at least a point in the process.
Bet Now Draw Or Everton @ $1.83Chelsea v West Ham
West Ham have struggled against most teams in the EPL of late. They’re deep in a relegation to be 18th on the table five points from safety. However, they’ve been especially poor against Chelsea.
Chelsea are going through their own issues overall but seem rejuvenated in the wake of Enzo Maresca’s departure. Playing a Hammers side in which they’re beaten in four consecutive matches with a 15-2 aggregate comes at the right time.

West Ham have won back-to-back games, but they’ve come against Sunderland and Nottingham Forest. The more trustworthy figure is the 45 goals they’ve conceded this season – second-most in the EPL. They’ve kept only one clean sheet all season and are unlikely to make it two against Chelsea who are creating high-quality chances.
Liam Rosenior has inspired a relentless attacking unit that is thriving on an end-to-end style. While it can result in goals going the other way, West Ham don’t have the quality to capitalize often enough to win.
Bet Now Chelsea To Win & Over 2.5 GoalsTottenham v Manchester City
While their positions on the EPL table might not suggest it as much, Tottenham v Manchester City looks the premier game of Matchday 24.
Tottenham are the most unpredictable team in world football. Losing in the EPL one day, winning in the Champions League and advancing to the Last 16 on another in the same week. Meanwhile, City have Arsenal in their sights in the title race.
There’s no predicting Tottenham’s results, but one thing that has been somewhat consistent is Dominic Solanke’s influence upon return from injury. He’s found the net in each of their last two Champions League games after scoring against Eintracht Frankfurt midweek.

While City are finding enough results to stay in the title race, they’re playing with a depleted defence. Solanke should find opportunities to score.
It’s also worth noting Tottenham’s recent success against Pep Guardiola’s side. They’ve won three of their last four meetings and come into this one in the mother of all get-right spots at 14th on the table.
We’re done picking Spurs to dig themselves out this hole in the league, but Solanke looks good to pick up the shovel and find the net.
