ZLOTIES when asked for the effort, won easily at Hillside last time out in very impressive fashion. She is third-up this time and the increase in trip will suit her perfectly. She only needs to run up to that kind of form and she will take a power of beating again.

I feel WONDER BOY is the bet of the day here in the Bendigo Guineas. This boy has had no luck in some nice races on city tracks in Melbourne and Sydney recently and if he gets some clear room here in the run home, he will take some stopping at the business end.

In a wide open affair, I’m sticking with the in form mare in SMOKIN PRINCESS. She put three together before running on well from the tail last time out at Flemington to go under by less than a length. From a soft draw, she will get the chance to settle up closer and be strong to the line.

Going to have something each-way on one of my favorites, in BABY PARIS. She has an excellent second-up record and from the soft draw, she will get every opportunity to dictate the speed and as we know she runs very well over the short course when able to lead.

THANK YOU HENRY has drawn perfectly down low and should get a gun run in behind the speed. He is bursting to win a race again and this event looks tailor made for him to do so.
