NEW YORK LUSTRE was ultra-impressive last start out at Flemington down the straight. Although she has drawn wide here, she should have enough speed to go forward and with Jamie Melham on board, she will be looking the winner at some stage nearing the finish.

Going with the very consistent TWAIN’S ANGEL here in the Scenic Blast Stakes. This mare is hard fit and was extremely unlucky last time out when she only got clear late to run third. She has the same map here and only needs to get clear room earlier and she will take a power of beating.
