After the devastating win of The Hollindale Cup last time out at Gold Coast, ANTINO should prove the one to hold off here in the Group 1 Doomben Cup. Blake Shinn seems to bring the best out of this fella, winning the Toorak Handicap the same way last year at Caulfield. Look for him to be hitting the lead on straightening and he can win again.

Going with BENAGIL to win again after her dominant win at Morphettville in the Australasian Oaks last start. She was well back in the run and came into the race under a throttle hold and when let down, she exploded away in the straight. Mark Zahra keeps the ride and if they run up to that effort, she will be winning this Group 2 event.

Will be having something each way on SAYEDATY SADATY at odds. Last year he finished well back in the Caulfield Cup and then first-up was fair at Flemington. Has had a jump-out win at Cranbourne and this classy conveyance from the UK should be just about ready to show some of that class that saw him run 5th in the Epsom Derby last year.

On his first-up run at Flemington, OTAGO looks the one they will have to beat. He was well back from the start and came home powerfully to go under by only 2 lengths. Won last time in second-up and certainly appears a good bet here at Hillside.

STORMCHASER won well first-up at Ascot coming from the tail of the field to run all over them. Usually gets back in the run but does possess plenty of ability especially when the pace is on. Has won twice at Belmont and also drops a kilo for that win, so he should be highly competitive again.
