OPEN HANDICAP

The Valley Race 7 (1523m) 4:35 pm

SEA WHAT I SEE is getting ready for a solid spring campaign with most likely the Cups as a target. Put together a picket fence last campaign winning six in a row and looks to have a big future. Won a Geelong 900m jump-out recently and looks to be ready for a first-up tilt.

CARLYON STAKES

The Valley Race 8 (1000m) 5:15 pm

Like the look of BOLD BASTILLE with the lightweight to get the job done over the 1000m around The Valley. Took all before him last campaign only being beaten in the Blue Diamond and then was sensationally scratched at the barriers when a hot favorite in the $1 million VOBIS Platinum Showdown. Won a jump-out at Flemington recently and will prove hard to beat.

BM78 HANDICAP

Doomben Race 6 (1050m) 2:48 pm

AVONE camped on them last time out and showed a brilliant turn of speed once they straightened up and put them away quickly. Drawn well, she should get a similar run throughout and if can reproduce that run again, she should be winning.

CLASS 6 PLATE

Doomben Race 8 (1200m) 4:02 pm

We may have gone for BOOM TORQUE one run too early. He got a long way back and finished off stylishly last time out behind Vodka Martini. He won second-up last campaign and the extra ground this time around should suit him perfectly. Watch for him late.

IDYLLIC PRINCE STAKES

Belmont Park Race 8 (1300m) 6:28 pm

Like the look of VALOUR ROAD in the Listed Idyllic Prince Stakes. This nine-year-old is still racing with plenty of zest and has a proven record winning four times first up. A recent win in a Belmont trial should have him ready to go fresh.
