PLACE DU CARROUSEL has been trialing well at Cranbourne leading into this and looks set to run a cheeky race first-up in the Blamey. Last season she took on the likes of Buckeroo and Via Sistina and she was not disgraced. This looks a race for her fresh and she looks nice each-way price to find out.

ANGEL CAPITAL won nicely first-up at Caulfield when he powered home from back in the field. With that extra fitness on his side, the mile looks perfect for him at this stage and he should take a power of holding out in the Australian Guineas.

Do like GATSBYS in the main sprint of the day. He got a long way back at Randwick first-up and rallied late, but the task was far too big. He had trialed well prior to that and if he can stay with them early, he should prove hard to stop over last 100m.

Tipping MILLANE on top as he has a great record here over the trip and he will settle close and in front of the favorite in Termagant. That could prove the deciding factor over last 200m.

TWAIN’S ANGEL can bounce back in the Charkeson Classic after a slightly disappointing effort last start. Has the draw to sit off the leaders and if brings the form of two runs back, she will prove extremely hard to hold off.
