JIMMYSTAR is unbeaten in two starts at Caulfield, including the Weekend Hussler over this distance two starts back. He was brave in defeat when beaten by Another Wil on Derby Day and from the inside draw he gets chance to turn-the-tables.
THOUSAND GUINEAS
AELIANA took on the boys in the Carbine Club on Derby Day and she gave them a galloping lesson powering away for dominant win. She gets back against her own sex at level weights and may just be a bit too smart for these. James McDonald gets the chance to add another Group 1 to his impressive career stats.
VILLAGE STAKES
Like the look of KIN here especially in the small field. She will get back in the field from the wide draw and I would expect her to be running all over them at the line. She has only missed a place only once in six attempts track/distance, so expect her to be right in this.
R.J.PETERS STAKES
YONGA LASS was well supported first-up and ran an even race. From the wide draw, Pike will more than likely go back, which should this mare. She has shown she has a devastating sprint on her when held up and produced late, and that is what I am expecting her to do this time around.
SWISS ACE PLATE
Looking for some value here with ALL THAT PIZZAZZ. First up last time he just went under at Eagle Farm in a listed affair and then followed that up with a placing here in the Bat Out Of Hell. With the likelihood of pace being on here, look for this guy to be the one running home hard at the business end. Does seem to be at the right price for a nice each way play.
