The Melbourne Demons should be able to cover the line against the Richmond Tigers to kick-off the Round 7 games.

The Kangaroo’s defence is extremely inexperienced, meaning Taylor Walker will be able to take full advantage. The key forward will be able to use his experience and skill to add at least two goals on the scoresheet.

The Geelong and Carlton game will be one of the most watched clashes this week, with both teams sitting near the top of the table. A highly-anticipated match, a predicted draw shouldn’t be off the tables.

While it may be unexpected, considering the Geelong Cats have yet to lose a game, the Carlton Blues look like one of the only teams that will be able to defeat them at the moment. Fresh off a win against the Giants, don’t be surprised if they can pull off an upset.

After a disappointing couple of weeks, Marcus Bontempelli will be looking to reclaim his form that has seen him become one of the premier players in the competition.

While the Bulldogs haven’t looked like the most consistent team, they will be going up against the Dockers, who have struggled in recent weeks and are coming off a loss to the Eagles.

While many may not see Jack Darling as someone who gains a lot of disposals, the forward has been a key piece in the forward 50. The main target for the club’s midfielders, Darling is expected to see a lot of ball.

An under-rated midfielder across the competition, Matt Rowell has been one of the most consistent performers in the AFL and continually racks up possessions in the midfield for the Suns.

Isaac Heeney has been one of the best midfield-forward’s this season and his form has seen him enter the race for early All-Australian contention. It’s hard to see him not score at least two goals this week.

While the Sydney Swans have been one of the better teams this season, the same can’t be said for the Hawthorn Hawks, who have struggled in all their games this season.
