Bulldogs midfielder Jack Macrae always seems to rack up the disposals on the field, despite whether the team ends up winning or not. This is evident by him securing 30+ touches in six of his last seven games against the Tigers.

The Tigers come into the clash having failed to cover the line in their last seven appearances when competing at Marvel Stadium.

While the Eagles may have won their second game of the season last week, expect the club to go back to their losing ways this week having lost their last five interstate games by an average of 112.5 points.

Essendon Bomber Nicholas Martin has managed to score at least two goals in the club’s last three matches at Marvel Stadium. Expect no different from Martin against a poor Eagles’ defence.

Taylor Walker has been a revelation for the Crows and was at his absolute best against the Power in the South Australia showdown, essentially winning the game for them. If the Crows are to climb up the ladder ‘Tex’ will need to continue having strong performances.

Despite the Crows defeating Port Adelaide last week in their annual South Australia showdown, the Suns put on a magnificent performance against the Lions as they look to lock down a finals spot, taking the four points.

After signing contract extensions with the club recently, all eyes will be on the Daicos brothers, Josh and Nick. Against an undisciplined Hawks defence and midfield, expect them to walk away with at least one goal each.

After losing only their third game of the season last week, the Magpies will be looking to bounce back against the Hawks and showcase their dominance with the ball. They have also won their last 11 when competing against teams on a losing streak.

Sitting outside the top eight, Geelong faces a tough road home and needs some crucial wins if they are to go back-to-back. Playing at home, they have also won their past 11 games against the Power, but expect the game to be relatively close.

The absence of Tom Hawkins this week has laid down the platform for Jeremy Cameron to once again reign supreme. Expect a big bag from Cameron as they team needs to claim a crucial four points.

Despite injuries to Lance Franklin and Dane Rampe, it’s hard to not select the Swans as winners due to the incredible run of form there have been as of late. THe retirement of ‘Buddy’ will be extra motivation for them to claim the four points

Toby Greene has been unstoppable. The forward has been one of the club’s best players this season and always shows up on derby day. He has kicked 3+ goals in seven of the Giant’s last eight matches as favourites.

Due to the Kangaroos losing their last 17 games, a big win from the Demons is expected. With a big win set for the Demons, Kysaiah Pickett is paying a reasonable price for multiple goals.

The Kangaroos are coming off a horrendous performance against the Eagles in which they conceded a win against the lowest-ranked team. Expect things to get worse before they can get better against the Demons.

Saint Dan Butler has managed to score at least two goals in six of his past eight appearances against the Blues and is set to do it yet again.

In what is set to be a close game, expect the end result to fall under the total match points line. An event that has occurred in five of the Saints’ last six.

Coming off a massive victory against the Cats away from home, the Dockers will be looking to add to the impressive victory. The Lions have also struggled away from home losing ten of their past 11 away from home.

If the Dockers are to win, they will need to rely on their star players. One of them in particular is Andrew Braysahw. Brayshaw has kicked 1+ goal in five of his last six games.
