Not only are the Geelong Cats coming off a loss at home but will be without several star players on Thursday including the forward duo of Jeremy Cameron and Tom Hawkins.

No matter what the outcome of the match will end up being, a low-scoring game is set to occur, with the two teams battling it out in the midfield.

The Swans are in incredible form at the moment and won’t feel like losing against old rivals Carlton. However, the Blues will keep the match close with Sydney to win by 1-39 points.

As the Sydney Swans remain heavy favourites for the match and are set to take home the four points, the Blues are the favourites to score first due to the forward pairing of Harry McKay and Charlie Curnow.

Reef McInnes has been a gem for the Collingwood Magpies this season and hasn’t shied away from the big moments. The forward will be looking to produce another solid effort this weekend as he takes on the Crows.

While McInnes is a good shout to kick at least three for the Magpies, if the Adelaide Crows have any chance of staying in the clash, they will have to look to their experienced players, one of them being Taylor Walker. Although it may not be likely, Walker has kicked five or more goals on several different occasions throughout his career.

After two disappointing losses, the GWS Giants will change their fortunes this weekend as they take on the Bulldogs at home.

With the Giants set to take home the four points, it is hard to see them not winning every single quarter out beating their rivals.

The surprising outsiders of the match, the Dockers shouldn’t be counted out of the match and are more than likely to cause an upset against the Saints in Melbourne.

As the Dockers and Saints will battle it out against each other for four quarters, the last quarter will see most of the players fatigued and struggled to get good opportunities in their forward 50.

Still inexperienced compared to most players in the AFL competition, Tigers forward Mykelti Lefau has been unbelievable in recent weeks and is nearly a sure thing to walk away with at least two goals.

While Mykelti Lefau may kick at least two, Brisbane Lions forward Joe Daniher has had no trouble booting the first of the match. A key forward, Daniher will be the main target for the Brisbane midfielders.

Against an out-of-form Kangaroos team that has yet to register a victory, midfielder Zach Merrett will run rampant in the middle of the field and will gain a ton of possessions leading his team in the midfield.

In nearly all their matches this season, the North Melbourne Kangaroos have been part of some of the highest-scoring matches this year. No difference should be expected this weekend.

Although it won’t provide you with a big payout, one of the safest bets of the weekend is for Power forward Jeremy Finlayson to kick a goal. Combine this with Zak Buteers, and it will give you good odds for the two players to kick at least one goal.

The Power may be considered as favourites and are coming off a victory against Geelong away from home but the Hawks should not be underestimated and will keep the margin close.

Coming off a one-point defeat to the Blues, the Melbourne Demons will be looking to get off to a quick start in the match and will put a large difference between them and their opponents, who have struggled in recent weeks.

With the Demons set to fire from the opening bounce, a high-scoring game can be expected and will more than likely exceed the total goals market.
