Magpies – TBA
What We Like
As the Swans continue to feel the loss of Tom Papley, they are in desperate need of a forward to take over and deliver. Who better than Joel Amartey to rise and put on a showcase performance on Friday.
Final Thought
Having already beaten the Magpies this season (in Round 1), the Swans will enter the clash with more confidence, as a loss for Collingwood would end their finals hopes.

Kangaroos – TBA
Eagles – TBA
What We Like
In a battle of the bottom teams, North Melbourne should be able to easily get up, considering the Eagles’ horrific record away from home over the past few seasons.
Final Thought
As the Kangaroos are likely to emerge victorious, it is also a good shout that they will emerge winners through a huge margin, with the Eagles last winning in Tasmania in 2012.

Lions – TBA
Giants – TBA
What We Like
While there is no better team in the AFL than the Brisbane Lions at the moment, GWS have produced some consistent showings in recent weeks and will likely give them a run for their money.
Final Thought
As the two teams are extremely competitive in all areas of the field at the moment, expect a low-scoring match with the game heavily played in the midfield.

Dockers – TBA
Cats – TBA
What We Like
In the four outings between the two sides at Optus Stadium, they both register two victories each but the Dockers have often responded will after a loss this season.
Final Thought
While the Dockers have been dominant in the midfield, their defence is another story. In a milestone match, forward Jeremy Cameron will be eager to score another bag of goals like he has done in the past few weeks.

Bombers – TBA
Suns – TBA
What We Like
Having never won against Essendon at Marvel Stadium, the Suns struggles are set to continues. Look at the Bombers forwards and midfielders take full advantage of this with multiple players scoring at least one goal.
Final Thought
The 2024 season may be coming to a close, but the Gold Coast Suns have yet to register a victory away from their home stadium. This sees the Bombers enter the match as favourites due to their opponent’s poor record away from Gold Coast.

Demons – TBA
Power – TBA
What We Like
Over the past few weeks, the Power has not only racked up victories but also been dominant around the ball in the midfield. One of the main factors in this has been Ollie Wines, who has reclaimed his Brownlow form and is one of the top disposal getters.
Final Thought
The Demons have been extremely inconsistent and lacklustre this season, while their opponents have come back from the depths of despair to contend for a spot in the top eight. Considering the Demons just beat the Power earlier in the season, Port Adelaide will be looking for vengeance.

Blues – TBA
Hawks – TBA
What We Like
After failing to make a comeback against their arch-rivals last weekend, the Blues will be eager to make a statement this week against the Hawks as they aim to cement their spot in the top eight and look at trying to take a top four spot.
Final Thought
When Harry McKay and Charlie Curnow are both firing the Blues are unstoppable. However, the duo have rarely reached their potential in recent weeks. You can expect one of them to at least kick over three goals as they honour their 1995 premiership team.

Tigers – TBA
Saints – TBA
What We Like
The Saints have won two of their past three matches and are the clear favourites to emerge victorious. However, Richmond should be able to keep the margin to less than 40 points.
Final Thought
Although the Tigers have struggled this season and have been failing to register victories, Tim Taranto has been one of the standouts and continues to rack up possessions during most appearances.

Crows – TBA
Bulldogs – TBA
What We Like
The Crows failed to stop Jeremy Cameron last week, meaning they are unlikely to have an answer for Bulldogs forward Jamarra Ugle-Hagan, who is playing as one of the better forwards at the moment.
Final Thought
The Western Bulldogs have a top-four spot in their sights and won’t let an away trip to the Adelaide Oval get in their way as they remain one of the in-form teams in the competition.
