Looking at the special markets for this week, it’s safe to assume that more than five goals will be scored in every quarter as the two sides are used to high-pace football.

The Magpies may have lost to Geelong last weekend, but the result could have easily gone either way. Heading into this week, Collingwood will make sure to end up on the winning side.

Since arriving at the Saints, midfielder Jack Macrae has been one of the club’s best when it comes to gathering possessions. In what is set to be a close and exciting clash, expect Macrae to flourish in the midfield.

Entering the match as favourites, Carlton have won two of their past three matches and while they are likely to emerge victorious on Friday night, they will be pushed to the limits by the Saints.

Over the past few weeks, veteran Christian Petracca has led by example in the midfielder and forward line. If Melbourne are any chance of walking away with an upset win, they will need to rely heavily on the star Demon.

The Melbourne Demons have won their last three-in-a-row but are yet to prove themselves against a quality opponent. However, they shouldn’t be as countered out as they are right now as clear outsiders.

After a strong victory over their inner-state rivals, GWS Giants, the Swans will travel to Victoria as they attempt to go back-to-back.

Known for their midfielder and forward line, Essendon and Sydney will both enter the match looking to fire quick goals and rack up easy possessions in the midfield.
