North Melbourne have arguably been the worst side in the AFL competition over the past month, and have been giving the ball up on too many occasions in their defensive-50.

Kai Lohmann has 17 goals in his last five games and has been firing on all cylinders, making him one of the most dominant players this campaign.

The Dockers are easily the best team in the competition and should be able to beat the Demons by a relatively large margin even though they are playing away from home.

Fremantle key forward Josh Treacy has kicked three or more goals in four of his last five matches.

Billy Cootee is good value this week, especially as he has kicked two goals in his past two matches against the St Kilda Saints and GWS Giants.

Swans superstar Charlie Curnow has booted three or more goals in four of his last five matches, including three last weekend against the St Kilda Saints.

Seven of the last eight meetings between the two sides have fallen over the total match score-line and expect a similar result this weekend.

Kicking two goals in his last three matches, Geelong Cats star Tom Atkins has gone severely under the radar and could be one of the best value bets of the weekend.

Back to his best over the past two weeks with eight total goals – five of them coming last week against Essendon – Riley Thilthorpe will be looking for another big performance and to perform his best against bad opposition.

The Richmond Tigers have been one of the most inconsistent teams of the competition and are unlikely to score a big total compared to the Adelaide Crows.

If there is any chance of making the finals, the Giants will need Jake Stringer to perform at his best and scored three goals last week against Port Adelaide.

Jack Riccardi has been unstoppable for the Giants, which has seen him score at least two goals in four of his last five matches.

Daniel McStay has been on fire for the Magpies, scoring five goals last week and 15 goals from his past five matches.

Beau McCreery is in red-hot form for the Magpies when it comes to the goal-kicking department, having scored five goals from his last two matches.

Harry McKay was at his best last week with three goals, and a similar performance should be enough to kick 2 or more goals this week.

Carlton should be able to pick up where they left off against Brisbane and will be the favourite to win every single quarter.
