Overview

After one of the best AFL seasons in recent memory, only two top teams remain in the competition. The Collingwood Magpies will take on the Brisbane Lions which is set to be an amazing clash between the two sides that finished in the top two during the regular season.

What We Like

The Norm Smith Medal is set to be contested by the two players who came close to clinching the 2023 Brownlow Medal. Despite Lachie Neale ($7) clinching the Brownlow ahead of Nick Daicos, expect the Magpies youngster to win the Norm Smith with the Magpies walking out victorious on the day. However, if the Lions cause an upset over the Magpies an easy bet should be Neale who would claim the double- Brownlow and Norm Smith Medal.

Final Thought

Despite the Lions winning the last seven meetings between the two clubs and having the number-one offence in the league, the Magpies are in magnificent form and will have the home-ground advantage with their many followers behind them. Putting veterans like Scott Pendlebury with youngsters like Josh and Nick Daicos, the Magpies should walk up on top.
